Parking, Pick-up, and Drop-off

Parking Lot Problems

We have been experiencing problems with our staff parking lot on Logan Drive. Please do not enter this parking lot as it is intended for staff members only. We have contacted the Fremont Police Department and violators will be ticketed. Please set a good example for your children by following all school rules.

Arrival Times

Morning Kindergarten students should not arrive on campus before 7:50 a.m., as there is no supervision before that time. All other students (Grades 1 - 6) should not arrive on campus before 8:20, as that is when there is supervision on the playground. If your child eats breakfast at school in the morning, you may drop them off beginning at 8:00 a.m. Students who arrive before these times will be brought to the office to call their parents.

Dismissal Times

Students must be picked up right at dismissal time:

1:15 on minimum days
2:48 on regular days
11:20 for A.M Kindergarten
3:0 for P.M. Kindergarten

It is stressful for both the student and faculty members if they are not picked up on time. Please do not place the burden on our office staff members as they are not daycare professionals. In addition, primary grade students may not wait for siblings in upper grades to be dismissed during minimum days.

Drop-off and Pick-up

The main parking lot in front of the school office is for both staff and visitor parking. This lot is for drop off and pick-up only. All parents/visitors must park in the main lot. For the safety of all Maloney Students please follow the rules:

• Please enter the parking lot using the right lane when dropping-off or picking-up your child.
• When leaving the lot you must turn right onto Logan Drive. There will be no left turns allowed during school hours.
• If your child is not out front when you arrive to pick them up you must exit the lot and re-enter. You may not hold up the flow of traffic by waiting for your child.
• Do not leave your car unattended in the drop-off, pick-up lane.
• Do not park your car in area marked in red.
• Do not pass or go around cars while you are in the lot.
• All students who ride the school bus to and from school will be dropped off and picked-up at the bus loading area located on Logan Drive.

We take the safety of all students very seriously. If you are coming on campus, you may park in spaces designated for visitors. The first days of school the lot is very crowded so we ask that everyone is patient during that time.
